Dr. Igal Bilik is an Assistant Professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. He holds B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the same university. He previously held academic and industrial roles at Duke University, the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, and General Motors R&D, where he led innovations in automotive radar and perception systems.
He currently serves as a Senior Editor for IEEE T-AES and an Associate Editor for IEEE Sensors and IEEE Transactions on Radar Systems. He is a long-standing member of the AESS Radar Systems Panel and chairs its Civilian Radar Committee. His expertise spans radar signal processing, smart sensing, and intelligent transportation systems.
